Pakistan’s art culture is mostly inherited from Indian culture which dates back to Aryan invasion in the sub-continent. During the past decades, Pakistan’s music industry has progressed a lot. With the seniors being the mentors and the trendsetters in the field, newcomers have so much to look upon.

Music in subcontinent was considered as an integral part of socio-religious life. Both, Muslims and Hindus loved to listen to music and were pretty much attracted towards it. Some used them as a way to preach religion, others enjoyed the melodious tunes for the relaxation of mind and soul.

After the creation of Pakistan, the artists of the country felt the responsibility of setting a benchmark and providing the juniors with something to learn.
